How the index works
The PokeTrade 500 follows the 500 most valuable cards that have a price on most days of the last month, each counted equally. It is rebalanced on the 1st of every month and moves with the average daily change of its cards. A single price jump of more than three times is treated as a mistake and left out of that day.
The market mood runs from 0 to 100. It blends how many cards are above their 30-day average, new highs against new lows, the trend of the PokeTrade 500 and how many people look at cards on PokeTrade. It shows once the market has 30 days of history.
“Own every card” adds up one copy of every priced card. It is not a market cap: nobody knows how many copies exist.
