What we use

Everything in this section is set by PokeTrade AI itself, on this website only. None of it is shared with advertisers or used to follow you to other sites.

Cookies

• Preferences: pt_theme (light or dark look), pt_show_jp (show Japanese sets) and pt_lang (language of the account pages). They remember a choice you made.
• Sign-in: pt_session, and on the private admin and investor areas pt_admin_session and pt_investor_session. They are set only when you sign in and keep you signed in.

Local storage

• Preferences and basket: your price market and currency, the “show Japanese sets” switch, your card basket and its currency. They stay in your browser.
• Visitor count: a random visitor id, renewed every 13 months, so we can count how many people are on the site right now and each day. It is not linked to an account, your name or your IP address.

Website analytics

We count visits with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that we host ourselves. It sets no cookies, does not store your IP address and does not follow you across sites. It records which pages are opened (links to private pages, such as a shared list or a profile, are cut down to their type), the site that sent you, your country, device and browser type, your language, price market, currency and theme settings, page speed, and clicks such as opening a marketplace link or adding a card to a basket. Both Umami and the visitor count stop when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, and the visitor id is then deleted.

Third-party services on some pages

A few pages load a service from another company, which can receive your IP address and browser details when the page is shown. Their own privacy policies apply to what they do with it:

• Mapbox draws the maps on shop and card-show pages.
• Stripe hosts the payment page when a shop books an ad.
• Apple and Google provide the sign-in buttons on the partner sign-in and registration pages.

What we do not use

• No advertising or marketing cookies.
• No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking pixels.
• No selling of any browsing data.

Preference and sign-in cookies are needed for what you asked the site to do, and the analytics above are limited to counting visits on this site, so we do not show a cookie consent banner.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. If you do, the site forgets your preferences and basket and signs you out, but the public pages keep working.
